# MCP Status Hub > Independent, protocol-aware monitoring for servers published in the official MCP Registry. MCP Status Hub distinguishes network reachability, MCP protocol negotiation, and safe tools/list capability discovery. It publishes current status, latency, uptime aggregates, recent incidents, monitoring limitations, Registry metadata, and canonical source links where available. It never invokes arbitrary MCP tools. ## Primary pages - [MCP Status Hub home](https://mcpstatushub.com/): Product overview, search, Registry totals, and recent observations. - [MCP server directory](https://mcpstatushub.com/mcp): Searchable directory with status, monitoring-class, and transport filters. - [XML sitemap](https://mcpstatushub.com/sitemap.xml): Canonical discovery feed for indexable MCP server pages. ## Interpretation notes - Operational means the required network and MCP checks succeeded. - Auth Required means a remote endpoint exists but cannot be fully tested without credentials. - Local Only means public uptime monitoring does not apply. - Unknown or Not checked means there is not enough recent comparable monitoring data. - tools/list is discovery only; no arbitrary tool is executed. ## Source and freshness Registry metadata comes from the official MCP Registry. Operational observations are collected independently by MCP Status Hub. Every MCP page displays its last-check time and monitoring classification; consumers should preserve those qualifications when citing status data.
